How to Register a Warranty

  1. Click on Warranties on the left, then click the blue “New Warranty” button on the right. Tip: You can also start the warranty registration from your customer's contact page. This will also auto-fill the customer's information.
  2. Add the installation details in the text fields, and use the “Notes” section to notate any paint correction, uncorrected damage, general notes. This information will be visible to any installer who views the warranty, as well as the customer. 
  3. Add the Customer
    1. Click Create New under Customer, or type in the customer’s name if they are already in your system.
    2. Make sure to add an accurate email address if the customer would like a copy of their warranty emailed or would like an annual inspection reminder email.
    3. Click Save.
  4. Add the Vehicle
    1. Click Create New under Vehicle, or type in the year, model and make if it is already in your system.
    2. Make sure the VIN is accurate, as the warranty will be added to the vehicle’s Carfax. Changes can only be made within 2 hours of saving the warranty, and changing the VIN in the Vehicles tab does not edit the warranty.
    3. Click Save
  5. Take a moment to make sure everything is correct, then click the blue Save button.

Notes: 

  • Ceramic Pro sends out an inspection reminder email every 11 months if the "Remind customer about the inspection" checkbox is selected. This box is checked by default. 
  • Make sure all of your information is accurate, since this can affect how smoothly a warranty claim can be processed for your customer if needed.
