How to Connect Your Facebook Ad to Shop Manager

  1. When logged into your Facebook account, click on Ads Manager 

  1. Click on your Campaign 

  1. Click on the Ad Set 


  1. Click Edit on the Ad 

  1. Scroll down and click Create a form 

  1. At the Create a form page below, click on the Questions tab 

  1. On the Prefill Questions fields, you can remove the ‘Full name’ field, then add the following fields by clicking ‘Add category’: 
  • First name 
  • Last name 
  • Email 
  • Phone number 
  • Zip code 

  1. On the Custom Questions section, click the following to add a custom field titled, “Model, year, mileage”: 
  2. Add Question 
  3. Short Answer 
  4. Then type in “Model, year, mileage” 

  1. Then go to the Settings tab, click Field names. Then replace the text in the fields with the following in the screenshot. After you can click create form. 

  1. You can then use this form as a template for each AD. You can duplicate the template and rename it for each AD. If there are any errors, make sure to go through them and enter a template description since you’ll be changing it every time you duplicate it for a new Facebook AD. 
  2. Then go to Shop Manager. Click on Settings > Shops 

  1. Click on your shop name > Campaigns > New Campaign 

  1. Add a Campaign Name and select a product. The click on the CONNECT TO FACEBOOK button 

  1. After you complete the Facebook login, select the relevant Facebook page and lead form from the drop-down menus. 

  1. If the 'Facebook page' and 'Lead Form' are showing, feel free to skip this step. If they are not, you can follow the below steps
    1. Go to your Facebook Account
    2. Click 'See more' dropdown near the bottom left then click 'Pages'
    3. Click on your business page
    4. Click 'Settings'
    5. In the search bar, type 'Page Access' and click on 'Page access'


    6. Click 'Page Access' again
    7. You'll need to click 'Add New' on the 'People with Facebook access' section to add another Facebook account you have access to


    8. Then they can go through the same steps and click 'Add New' to add you to the 'People with Facebook access'
    9. Then go back to step 14 and now you should see your Facebook page and lead form in the dropdowns.
  2. Click ‘Save’ to save the campaign.
