How to create reminders in Shop Manager
You can set reminders in Shop Manager and choose to get a text, email, or in-app notification before they’re due. Below are the steps on how to create those reminders:
- Click "Calendar"
- Click "Reminders"
- Click on the day you would like to create the reminder.
- Click on the 'Title' text field to create the name of the appointment. Or you can leave it as 'Follow up'
- Click the 'Date' field to change the date of the appointment.
- Click the time field to adjust the time.
- Click "OK" to save the time.
- Click this field to adjust what time you would like to be shown a notification reminder about the reminder.
- Now it will look like this. And also below will be what the Notification will look like in Shop Manager
- Click "Add reminder" to add other options to be reminded by like email or text.
- Click "Email" if you would like to be reminded by email and can set up the time before the reminder that you would like to be reminded.
- This is what the email reminder will look like.
- Click "Add reminder" again so we can select the 'Text' option. And then you can set up the time you would like to be reminded by.
- Click the 'Contact' dropdown to choose the contact you would like the reminder to be tied to.
- This is what the text reminder will look like.
- Click name of the contact.
- Click the 'Note' field to add a note about the client. This note will not be seen by the client.
- Click "Save"
- Now you can click on the reminder.
- Now you can see the information about the reminder.
- You can also make the reminder through the Contact profile. First go to 'Contacts' then click on the contact name.
- Click on the bell icon next to the Contact's name
- Click "Create reminder"
- Now you can create your reminder here.
- Click "Save"
- Now click the 'X' on the top left.
- Click on the bell icon.
- Then you can see on your reminders here for that Contact.
